Yi So-Yeon

Yi So-Yeon (이소연; b. June 1978) - in 2008, Yi, a biotechnologist, became the first Korean astronaut (as part of the Korean Astronaut Program (KAP)) by flying to the International Space Station (ISS) on a 10-day mission aboard the Russian Soyuz TMA-12 with two Russian cosmonauts.
