​Victor Cha (b. December 1959) - the former Director for Asian Affairs in the White House's National Security Council (from 2004 to 2007 under the second Bush Administration), focusing on issues pertaining to South and North Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, he was reportedly President Bush's top advisor on North Korean affairs.


He is currently the Director of Asian Studies at Georgetown University's Department of Government. Professor Cha also serves as a senior advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a foreign policy think tank in Washington, D.C.
