Korean Diaspora

According to South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs' 2019 report, the total number of Koreans living outside of the Korean peninsula total approximately 7.5 million. Of that total, nearly 85% of such overseas Koreans live in five countries: 1) United States with approximately 2.55 million; 2) China with 2.46 million; 3) Japan with 825,000; 4) Canada with 242,000; and 5) Uzbekistan with 177,000.
